The autocomplete(not auotfill) feature on apple devices-annoying.I think mind reading is beyond the purview of a computer unless the mind being read is pretty transparent-like you can see from ear to ear through one ear.
While posting something or even typing an email, having the busybody autocomplete try to complete my thoughts for me is leading to a lot of gnashing of teeth on my part.
I tend to write words in my native language rather than in english while communicating with friends, and this leads to hilarious autocompletions- and woe to the person who does not read what he has typed before hitting send or post-yesterday I wanted to type the name of a supplement starting with endo and it was completed for me -as endoplasm!
The moving finger writes and having writ...........applies to papyrus rolls but  not to a PC screen, but using autocomplete confidently without rereading what you typed is almost like a papyrus roll-you can't take it back after you've hit send.
That's what one gets for being lazy I guess, but then this was an automatic feature, not one I enabled-so,I am thinking,I need to disable it-but,here's the thing,it does spellcheck by itself and most of the time,it is right. But there is a fine line between spellcheck and finishing my words for me-especially a chatterbox, opinionated person like me.So I might disable it after all!Dilemma of the day!!
