I take that back!!

Remember how I said the comment section behind any article usually brings out the crazies?
Well there are always exceptions to the rule. But rarely, you come across a genuinely true/funny/intelligent comment-I mean a combination of all three.
Today I did!

So I was reading this article about a guy flying to China on company business missing his flight and being accommodated on another flight on business class nonetheless...well that in itself is interesting and noteworthy, but this guy had photos of his trip to the airport with captions-single sentences....not an interesting article -UNTIL you read this comment-addressed to his parents explaining why their kid got a C in language arts!!

Check it out:

Not too interesting huh?

I am copying the comment here just to make sure you get to read it and it is not lost somewhere in cyberspace by the time you get to it.

"I'm writing this brief note to explain little Nick's grade of a C- on his recent essay. While we appreciated Nick's story and pictures about his big adventure in the airport, he is going to need to learn how to write in complete paragraphs before moving on to the fourth grade next year. Although his sentences are concise and clearly written, his inability to combine thoughts coherently produces a disjointed essay. He should learn to use transitional words and phrases more fluidly, instead of jumping from one thought to the next. With a little more practice at writing and some remedial tutoring, little Nicky will be ready for middle school in no time! "

Way to go!!!
Now if every kid had this kind of teacher........

I know of a kid in middle school(ahem..) whose Humanities teacher does not know the difference between possessive and plural ,which if I remember right, is taught way before middle school but it seems not well enough to be remembered into middle age?!!
