Noe always wakes up briskly and goes," What do we have to do today?".
I went upstairs to wake him up today and stood at the foot of the bed going,"Noe you need to wake up.I think you are done sleeping!". Pat came the reply,"I stopped sleeping Amma!!".
Too many firsts today-the homeschooler and I are off to OMSI for lab-frog dissection!! He thinks he will puke, but I am curious to see the insides of another organism. Then he is off to camp with his scout troop.
In the evening my husband and I are off to watch the ballet performance of Swan Lake-Oregon Ballet Theatre has never done it before,so it is a first for them too. I am not much of a classical music fan,but the hubby is-though not opera-the screeching gets to be unbearable after a while. I think they had to yell that way because they did not have mikes and such in those days and people at the back had to hear what was being sung!! But they can bring it down a notch now huh?
Whenever Vincent takes the Prius out(it is usually with me,he uses the bunged up, 17 mpg Mazda MPV), you will know the next time you take it out for a ride because he would have set the FM dial to All Classical! I'll then have to go back to pop stations or Tamil CDs. So there is this constant struggle to gentrify the riffraff around him-not much success, poor guy!! Today is another effort in that direction! I know Swan Lake has moving melody, but I do not appreciate men in tights pirouetting about-so we have balcony seats and that will be good I think!
And Noe gets to stay with his babysitter today! I have asked her to take him out to dinner and then chill at home. The performance is three hours long and starts at 7.30 p.m - it will be late by the time we get home. Let's see how it goes!
It seems like I have nothing worthwhile to blog about and came up with this idea of typing in my timetable for the day!!Almost sounds like FB posts!!FB fans,no offense people!!
