Day one of the Primal Blueprint diet.My husband convinced me to try it and I have agreed to try it for 4 weeks.
Two things caught my attention-no need for crazy exercise routines and crazy dieting.Another impetus for me-can use coconut oil-not can,must!!
I have always been a fan because my parents are from the South of Tamilnadu-the country of coconut palms and fish and ........so I am used to adding coconut in every thing I eat-veggie curries,gravies ,everything.Also I am used to eating stuff cooked with coconut oil-the smell and taste are too good!My husband on the other hand is from the North of Tamilnadu and is not used to the "coconut diet"-so in the last almost 15 years I have given up a lot of favourite edibles just for him,and now,he is a convert!
So as of today have had two meals-an egg,sauted onions and bacon for breakfast and tuna salad on lettuce leaves for lunch.Had a snack of macadamia nuts and some pepperoni(minimally processed).
Let's see how this goes.Fingers crossed!!
